Solo Cross-Country 8/20/08

YES!!! I did it! I made my first solo cross-country. A total of 7.2 hours across Northern Utah, Western Wyoming, and Eastern Idaho. My route took me from Bountiful Skypark up to Pocatello Idaho to Blackfoot Idaho, where I was just in time to have lunch with some family. I then took off a little later and flew to Afton Wyoming, then back over to Idaho Falls, then across the desert and lava fields to Twin Falls Idaho. After a fueling stop there I headed back home to Skypark. It was amazing!!! There were some pretty good bumps and some pretty strong winds but we made it just fine! It was so cool. I am getting so close to my checkride I can feel it...and I am terrified!
